Good day. How can we create item revisions within NAV 2009 SP1? We wanted to maintain revisions for the same item.

    Good evening,
    I guess you are looking for another "identifier" which in combination with the Item No. creates a unique identifier for each release of an Item.
    Well, I can think of Variants and/or Lot No. The two fields are visible on Item Ledger Entries. This would help you to be able to display availability by "item revision".
    In manufacturing, one can have different Routing versions and also different versions of BOM. This could be also something that might be relevant for you?
