NAV 2.50 to sql server

Hi,

Seems like in the past the client had a way to move data from nav 2.50 server to sql server using XML project, probably developed in visual basic 6/VBA.

How do you connect to navision server from access for example?

Any ideas or examples?

Hi,

You can use ODBC drivers to connect to Access or excel and import or export the data.
This would even work for old versions of SQL server e.g. 2000.
The ODBC drive is provided in the installation folder of NAV 2.5

If you search for ODBC and NAV 2.5 you can find many examples here on mibuso.
