Hi
I guess it is possible to add watermark to the RDLC layout...? But how to do it. Say, I would add a full-page (A4) logo as watermark on report 206, is it best-practice to embed the logo/watermark directly in the report??
Please Refer to examples:-)

I think the only solution is to add a background image....

    Hi Denpar
Thx for your answer, but the link isn't working:-(
But the solution with a background image sounds promising. A watermark is some kind of image in the background...

    Hi Denpar,

You can use a printer with Watermark (PDFcreator) You can set up diffrent printers with diffrent Wartermarks.

I know that you can add a watermark/background with a PDF printer....

But I think the question was to add a watermark in a RDLC report!

You can add an image to the body, if you open the body properties you will see an option about images and you can either use a field from the dataset, or embed the image.

For performance I think embed would be better but if you have several to change and the picture will suffer changes from time to time then you will need to place it in the dataset.

There is a problem with that, you will need to redesign the picture for it to fit as you like in the report, because the report will fill the body with the picture size and can be a trouble since it will repeat the picture.

    But yes it's possible :)
