Queries and Charts

There is no way you can add custom logic, calculations into queries, therefore, you cannot add them to charts unless you are going the whole way down of using the fully programmatic type of business chart?

And how about date filters? Set them up in the chart itself as the user cannot set them up, so you will end with a gazillion charts like "sales per country and item Jan 2015", "sales per country and item Feb 2015" and so on?

    That's right.

    Date filters are missing indeed in charts. Looking for a nice solution to handle this.
    Probably need a extra table to add in each query where you need date-filters.
    Extra table which contains USERID, date from, date to, and Generic Chart Setup ID.
