Hi Experts,
I need to know, is there any way of read/access report data item using another report.
Simply I need to know what are the data items used for report.
further more if possible, to read/access global variables.
thank you.

for example I took,
Report : 108 Customer - Order Detail No, which has Customer, Sales Line data items.
I have create a new report 50000 Data Item List, which has only a Integer data item iterate only once.
from 50000 report I need to know, what are the data items used for 108 report.
report output : Customer, Sales Line
:?: is this clear?Lakshan Kulawansa

I don't think you can do what you want.
But how about print the report in preview mode and select about report property to show all the fields in the dataset and also the values they get?
To enable this in the request page do:
Help and select about this page.
set the filters you want and select preview
after report generation, go:
Help and select about this report
That will show everything that as generated to make the report, and may give you the information you want.0 -
thanks for the reply.
I need this at report run time, & I think it is not possible.Lakshan Kulawansa
