Merging Application Objects using Windows PowerShell

The new merge tools from MS are great, but the merge cmdlet (Merge-NAVApplicationObject) do not handle merging the version list. You have to use a separate cmdlets for that (Get-NAVApplicationObjectProperty and Set-NAVApplicationObjectProperty), but is there a way to set up these cmdlets to actually merge the version list from the three object sets that we are dealing with?
