Hi all,
i am trying to migrate my database from Dynamics 2009 R2 to Dynamics 2013 R2. i have completed the object changes to a 2013 database with the customizations and i want to transfer the data. I follow the instructions in
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... 2(v=nav.71).aspx but i cannot find the upgrade601700 1 fob. I searched at the folders UpgradeToolKit\Data Conversion Tools of 2009 and 2013 but nothing.
Any idea?

Strange. On the DVD I downloaded from Partnersource it does exist. I guess you have to download it again.

The Upgrade Toolkit was not a part of Initial Release of NAV 2013 R2. I was released Later separately.
For Details you can visit Below Link -

For Upgrade Steps there is an article in Microsoft Team Blog, you can refer Below Link-
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nav/archive/2013/11/22/upgrade-toolkit-for-upgrading-data-from-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2009-r2-and-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2009-sp1-to-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2013-r2.aspx?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MicrosoftDynamicsNavTeamBlog+%28Microsoft+Dynamics+NAV+Team+Blog%29
If you download the DVD now from partner source which is with Rollup 6 you will find the objects under upgrade folder.
Things to keep in Mind during Upgrade from 2009 to 2013 R2 -
1. You Should at least use NAV 2013 R2 with Rollup 6 (I would Suggest the Latest Build i.e Build 12)
** For Latest Build Refer here - http://saurav-nav.blogspot.in/2014/10/nav-2013-r2-cumulative-update-12.html
2. After Step 8 as per the upgrade steps in Team Blog change the SQL Timeout to max i.e 24 Hours.
** This is used to Sync Table Changes in SQL and connection should remain active during object import activity.
3. After Importing Objects Do Run Sync-NAVTenant Cmdlet and wait for Objects to get sync.
Hope the steps resolve your query. If Yes, please mark the issue as resolved.
If you face any issues during Data Migration do let us know.
Thanks & Regards,
Saurav Dhyani
