NAV 2013 R2 Request Reject results error with SMPT

when I reject a request, below error results:
A DotNet variable has not been instantiated. Attempting to call microsoft.dynamics.nav.smtp.smtpMessage.send in
we use exchange server. so I configured with IP address of Exchange server in SMPT setup. and authentication is Anynomous. What should I do?

you are talking about the smtp setup inside the application, right? Did you also install the outlook add-in?

yeah I`m talking about smtp setup inside the application and didn`t install outlook add-in. must be installed?

Well the .net add-in makes sense cause it's the component that should be instantiated. This add-in runs on the service tier. Please install this and try again.
