    Hi Kine,

I used Domain Administrator user account..

I am stuck then go to another computer, everything is installed okay.
But when I opened Microsoft Business Notification:
    the choose "Connect to Server"
there's no server name displayed there...

If I just typed and clicked, it would give an error

The program cannot connect to the server [my server name]. The server might run under an account which is no longer valid or the webconfiguration file might be corrupted. Please contact your system administrator.

    Please help, Thanks a lot...

Please, look into services under which account is running service "Notification Service Deployment Manager" and "NS$BusinessNotificationInstance"... it must be some domain account (not system account) or account with enough permissions to connect to other PC etc...

    Hi Kine,

Thanks for bearing with me... I have set all acount in the same one.

I am moving a step ahead, but still in the slow movement...
I tried to manipulate web.config values in the EndUserSubscription

    The first error I got:
    Server Error in '/BusinessNotificationSubscribe' Application.

I did not need any changes in the config. I only looked to the setup of the IIS folder, if there is Anonymous access disabled to force explorer to authenticate the user by Windows authentication.... try to check this - the subscription pages need to know which user is browsing them... and you must check which Messages are existing on your BN server through Navision BN client... settings include which users can subscribe the message (you can add something as everyone or domain users to be sure that every user can subscribe the message) ...

    Hi Kine,

    Everything is just fine...
But I got this in event viewer while starting services..

Could not write configuration to Navision.
    Exception:
    System.Data.DataException
You do not have permission to run the Property Store table.

Contact the system manager if you need to have your permissions changed.

Do not forget to set super role in NA for the account under which the BN service is running...

Which licence you are using on the server? End user, NSC, developers...

Can you open the table in Navision client without problems?

Do you know which granule ID exactly refers to BN? :-s
Yes I can run Property Object Table.

If you cun run the table with your licence, all is ok for this. No granule in my licence for BN (it is hidden under something like All application Granules...) but when you refresh the licence last?

What I can remember is, that after I installed the BN server, I have problems with connecting too, I reinstalled all (BN server, SQL BN service) and change the licence for newest, refreshed from MS, and it run then. Sorry, no new advise for you yet...

try to find, why there is not possible to write into the table... it must be licence issue, permission issue or problem of the Application server included in BN...

    Hi Kine,

it works now, I can set the send notification in B.N. Setup. :D

But now the problem is in the IIS in Win2003 SP#1 (I think), the browser always says "Service Unavailable". Have you had any experience on these?

    Thank you,

    Jemmy

And it is problem of the IIS or the BN Service? Can you open some trial html page on this server?

    Hi!

Can you be more precise? In which part of the installation are you getting this error?

Have you installed Microsoft SQL Server Notification Services SP1?

    Regards!

    Dear Friends!

If you ever face the following error:

"There are no business entities available. Please ensure that there is a company selected in Navision"

Try to unistall .NET Framework 1.1 from the machine which has the under mentioned problem and try to install it back again.

    Regards!

    Hi Dimos,

If you ever face the following error:
"There are no business entities available. Please ensure that there is a company selected in Navision".
This problem occurs if you install the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 before you install Microsoft Navision Business Notification.

To resolve this problem, maybe you can try to follow these steps:
    1. Uninstall the .NET Framework 2.0 on the computer that is running Microsoft Navision Business Notification Server.
    2. Uninstall Microsoft Navision Business Notification.
    3. Restart the computer.
    4. Reinstall Microsoft Navision Business Notification.
    5. Reinstall the .NET Framework 2.0.

The cause of SQL NS Registion error may be one of these below,

    1. You do not have user rights on the computer that is running Microsoft SQL Server on which you tried to install the Business Notification functionality.
    2. The version of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Notification Services is incorrect. It should correspond with SQL Server version. Notification Standard VS SQL Standard, Notification Enterprise VS SQL Enterprise.
    3. The Terminal Services service is enabled on the computer on which you tried to install the Business Notification functionality.
    4. The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 are installed on the computer.
