The can't copy-paste textboxes in VS issue

I think it is well known. It is still not fixed in NAV 2013 R2 / VS 2012. Any workarounds? Copy-pasting just one textbox is more or less feasible by opening it with the XML editor. But for larger sections it is harder.
Basically, I'd like to know that after I spent a day to make the invoice header look exactly like it did in Classic, how can I reuse that for credit notes, order confirmations etc. etc.
Do you guys usually take every standard document and redo all the editing steps manually to make them look like they did in Classic and/or to look like the company standard format in case of new implementations, or have you found any shortcuts?

Hi Miklos,
Thanks for reminding me that I needed to write this blog post:

Thanks,

I'm blogging here:http://mibuso.com/blogs/clausl and used to blog here: http://blogs.msdn.com/nav
I'm also offering RDLC Report Training, ping me if you are interested. Thanks to the 700 NAV developers that have now already been at my training. You know you can always call if you have any RDLC report issues :-)0 -
I have another workaround: open xml editor, search for "=code." replace to " '=code." - then copy all you need to copy and then replace back. Ugly, but useful when you need to copy header/footer to another report.
Of course, Claus's solution is more elegant, as usual

If I am making an almost identical report, but with different table names, I just export the report to text and use find and replace to change the table names, change the report number, then import the revised text object.David Machanick
