Hi

When i try to post sales order then i get this kind of error "Shipping No series must have a value in Sales header"

But i can't find that No series anywhere.

Did you set Posted Shipment Nos. on Sales & Receivables Setup?

Yes but error stay's

you will need to populate the field manually on sales header.
But for new orders it should default correctly.

Yes it should be, but it isn't

when you setup the numbering series in Sales Setup for Shipping Nos. Did you make sure the Default field is checked in the number series?

Yes in No series i have defined "shipment" and default is checked and in sales & receivables is defined in Posted Shipment Nos.

I have still this error...

I have tried many things.

Just create a new sales order and check if the shipping no. series gets update.

If its not getting updated there, then there is a customization included or a bug (which is not possible) which is not updating the no. series.

However if you want then you can do is,
First show that field on the page, as its is not visible.

Secondly update the value in there manually, the last shipment no. to be used and try to post.

This is not advisable but should not harm anything.
