NAV 2013 R2 is not official suported in Windows XP. Thats a fact.

Has anyone tried it? We have some XP machines and hope to find a solution.

Thanks in advance.

You cannot use the RTC, becuase it is using features which does not exists under win XP. But you can use the Webclient as workaround (but with all the limits of the web client) or terminal services. No other option.

Thanks Kine for such a clear explanation. =D>

We will evaluate if the web client option fit to our needs, otherwise we will think about changing the OS to Win7 or Win8.

However, we will wait if Microsoft provides some solution / Hotfix or somebody finds a way to use the Rol client with XP SO.

As support and security updates for Windows XP is no longer available, Microsoft will certainly not provide some solution / hotfix ...

And nobody will find "work around" when the app is simply NOT COMPATIBLE... it is like waiting for workaround how to run 64bit app on 32bit OS...
