RDLC report image render on single run wont render on batch

RTC 2009 sp1
• I have a rdlc report with an external image (references a network shared drive)
• If I run the report and PREVIEW then SAVE AS PDF
• ** The report images works perfect.
BUT IF I
- Use a batch RDLC report that calls the above report one or many times
- Uses REPORT.SAVEASPDF(reported, filepath, record)
- ***The image doesn't print in the pdf. It a square X, like a file not found. Everything else works perfect
Really weird thing…. This worked up until 1 week ago.
- No updates
- No changes
- No server reboots
