Renumbering Tables issue?

Hi Experts,

Today we need to renumber some objects in our NAV 2013 R2 (Build 36897) setup

We started trying with table number 55010



We need the table to be number 55012, but when we try, the systems shows the following message:



In fact, we can't renumbering any table and we don't know why?

Can you help us, please?

Hey Vector,

You cannot rename tables in NAV 2013 R2. For Details please Read Waldo Blog where he explain the issues if we rename a table in NAV 2013 R2.

The Best Possible way is -

a) Save a copy of existing table with new ID and Name.
b) Using a Report Or Manually transfer data from old to new table.
c) Delete content of Old Table.
d) Delete Old Table.
