PopulateAllFields in NAV 2009 (filter issue)

Hi experts,

I am trying to create a new record from a list page or card page in NAV 2009 R2. There is a filter set on that page. The card page has the property PopulateAllFields set. I use the standard functionality to create a new record.

Problem: on Action New, a new card page opens in new mode, but the filters are not set. PopulateAllFields has nothing to work on.

Why is this?
Is there a way around this besides trying to replicate standard functionality i.e. substituting the standard new by my own?

Filters are carried on when opening the card page for view or edit.
