Hi all,

Thanks in advance. I need to have more clarity in terms of the functionalities of commerce portal(CP) and Commerce Gateway(CG).

Where should I suggest CP and CG ? Are they dependent on each other in any cases ? Is it possible to do an EDI through CP or CG

? .... can any one please detail on this .... Thanks again.

CP is web interface to Navision - you can use it for reading data (invoices, orders etc.) and creating data (make order, post order etc.)

CG is EDI interface to Navision - you can send data to another partner (customer, vendor) - for example in EDI format or in another format (XML, email etc.) - it is based on MS BizTalk
