Can't see row/column dividing lines in NAV Classic Windows 8

Hi all,

Has anyone noticed that in Classic Client on a Windows 8 machine, you can't see the dividing lines in any grid, e.g. table or list type form?

Apparently, the "Windows Classic" theme has disappeared from Windows 8, and I haven't found a way to replicate it.

I've tried a few third-party themes that claim to emulate the Classic theme, but they all have some weird color anomalies. I thought I found a good one, but then realized that all text in programs like Word and Outlook showed up only as black instead of the "real" color.

Does anyone find the invisible divider lines as frustrating as I do?

Sample attached. Although the screenshot shows very light lines, on my monitor, the lines are actually not visible at all.

I found my own solution, at least a reasonable one - I turned down the brightness and contrast on my monitors a little bit. At least now, I can see the light grey lines.
