rtc report weird behaviour

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if any of you have a solution to this. Found out that there's a weird behaviour with RTC reports when there's a dataitem with date as the primary key. For example the accounting period table. Tested with NAV 2013 and NAV 2013 R2 and the following are the steps and the findings :-

1. Create an empty report with just accounting period as the dataitem.
2. Run the report
3. Add Starting date as a filter and click on the lookup button and select a date. Refer to Report1.jpg
4. Click preview and the results are the following :-

NAV 2013 - the date selected will be entered as datetime and when you run/preview the report it will prompt a confirmation box that says that one of the filters are invalid and will be ignored.
NAV 2013 R2 - date selected will be entered as datetime and then it crashes the system entirely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to fix this.
