I've inherited a report that I'm converting to RDLC. The create layout suggestion did its normal crummy job but I've addressed most of those issues. The one I'm still struggling with is controlling the visibility of the table rows. I know each row has a visibility property that can be set to Hidden, Visible, or Expression. I've used the expression before with no issues but for some reason this one is just not working. If I use an expression that makes sense to me, I get no results. When left as is, all rows print. ](*,)
The classic version doesn't print the detail sections if all the quantities are zero. I tried creating a variable that I set to 0 or 1 based on if I want it to print or not. I put this in a control in the sections of the classic client and made the control not visible.
Is there an easier way? Am I taking the wrong approach?

If you are running NAV 2013 remember that the visibility condition has to be set up on the corresponding row group.
If shows correctly, I suggest to share the report code, and a sample of data coming from "About this report": otherwise it's quite difficult to suggest a proper solution to this kind of problems.
