Hi all,
I am new to NAV development, currently working for a company who has many customers on Classic Navision 4/5.
I'm trying to understand the posting process, for example, how a sales order with header and lines gets all the way through to being posted, what is the order of events and tables/code units used. I would be grateful if someone could point me to some information that covers this with a tutorial?
Cheers.

Hi, welcome to our community.
You can start by watching by video's on YouTube like this one:
How Do I: Read and Understand the Posting Routines in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2:

Or you can read my book which you can order using the link in my signature.0 -
If you are working for an authorized NAV Partner, get ahold of the NAV Development training course - there is a chapter on posting routines in general - how they are structured. It's a pretty good reference.Ron0
