Defaulting Salesperson Code

Greetings. I'm very new to Nav development, and I hope that I am asking this in the right place. We're using Nav 2013.

I'd like to have the "Salesperson Code" field populate automatically when adding a new sales order. (I'd also do it on things like the new customer card, and maybe a few other places, if I could figure out how it's done) I'd want it just populated to the current user that is performing the activity.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Bryan

It is added to the Sales Header as default from the Bill-To Customer code as mentioned above.

When we implement the change at our customers, who require dynamic Salesperson codes, we normally add the sales person code to the User Setup table.
Then we get the Salesperson code from there, when a USERID validates or inserts an order.
