Import Record links

We have a customer on NAV 2013.
We have a need to import a large number of drawings via XML port to the Record Link table, The URL, shared network folder, will need to be attached to the Item record.
I am not seeing how it can be attached to the item record as it’s key seems to be in a binary data format…
Any ideas how we can import this data and set the URL value ??

It is easy... each record variable has function "ADDLINK". You just add the url there... ;-) It means, get the record, add the link.

Hello, this sounds similar to a problem I'm having, I'm very new to dynamics so i could you all the "lamen" help i can get. basically i have a file off .pdf documents that have been scanned and saved in a shared drive by PO number and I need to link each document to the corresponding PO on NAV 2013 , please help.
