inserting date in nav database

hi experts
i am reading sales invoice line table through select query and inserting it into the another nav database
using ado connection . But shipment date, posting date column incorrect date is being updated. or its format is being changed. Please guide me during insertion date into the nav table what format i have to use into the insert query so that correct date will insert into the nav table.

Try to use international format for dates and datetimes : yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss[.mmm]
