Document Approval not responding

Good day!

We have setup document approval using the purchase amount approval limit. We are having performance issues if we use this function but with the unlimited PO approval, we can process the document. With amount approval, the session does not respond and will have to terminate the test client.

Any known bugs or configuration issues related to this scenario?

Just quick tip from top of my head: Isn't there some loop in the approval setup?

Yes, there is a loop. On our case, we've setup 3 additional approvers + the default approver. Without the approval amount limit, we can complete the whole process. With the amount limit, it stalls. Could be related to a server and/or database performance :-k

Without the limit, the loop is no problem. The first one will approve it. With the limits, if set wrong, may be the system is trying to find the correct approval. Try to debug the process. Without debugging it could be different things.
