Does this happen for all reports or just the Invoice report?

Is the invoice report customized? This error can raise when using FORMAT or EVALUATE functions with GUID variables (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd354925(v=nav.70).aspx).

What if you delete the layout in Visual Studio, keep maybe 1 textbox. Take a backup of course before you delete your layout.

Do you then still get the error?
