Hi, thanks for helping!

When we try to debug a NAV 2013 R2 session with "Tools - Debugger - Debug Session..."

We get the following error:

"You have not been granted permission to perform the current activity"

Our domain user has the SUPER role in NAV users. Any ideas?

Is debugging enabled on the service tier?

The problem was that the user had the "company" field filled in the user card, altough it had the SUPER role.

Seems like in order to debug, you need the "company" field to be blank.

I had the same issue in 2015 when trying to sync tables, removing the company name resolved the issue. Thanks.

I have the same problem for NAV2016. My user setup is correct. The account has SUPER rights and the 'Company' field is blank. And I'm using a NAV2016 developers license.
    Any ideas?

I figured out my problem. I just removed my 'SUPER' permission role and recreated it. That solved my problem. I don't think there are issues with the User Personalization.

Having this same issue. I am not able to leave the Company field in User Permission Sets blank. Any thoughts on why I cannot leave Company field blank?

Having same problem and solved it,
    you need to Check :

    1) that your NAV User has the SUPER role without a company filter applied on SQL table "Access Control" and table "User Personalization"

    2) AppID column on SQL table "Access Control" and SQL table "User" must have value "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000"
