2 IE windows opens when calling HYPERLINK

Have a customer where 2 IE-Windows opens when calling HYPERLINK in a codeunit. I cannot replicate this on my test system, so it has to be an "undocumented feature" on customers machine.
Any ideas where to begin to look for this?

    Both of the windows contain the link referred by HYPERLINK function?
    If it's not an update version of IE (like IE 7) I remember this behavior occurred when setting more than one address in starting page (Tools > Internet Options > General > Homepage).
    Otherwise I would try resetting IE to the default setting (Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset/Restore Default) to see if anything changes.
