Average Cost Period must not be in Accounting Period Start

We are in the process of upgrading a NAV 40SP3 installation to NAV 2009 R2. We have actually modified all objects on a fresh 2009 R2 W1 DB. did a tech upgrade on old db by opening with new .EXE. Imported Upgrade4002009.1.fob from Upgrade toolkit. Ran "transfer data "and took a NAV backup.
and we restored this backup. all went well. when we try to post an order, i am getting "Average Cost Period must not be in Accounting Period Starting Date='01-04-14'" error. the default CHRONUS in the same DB, i am able post. So, i feel that it is something to do with a setup of inventory period somewhere. Before taking backup, we ran "ACIE" and all cost posted to G/L.

Have I missed something in the setup? can someone please help me on how to correct this issue?

Please check in the Accounting Period table the record with Starting Date 01/04/2014: you'll find an empty value in field Average Cost Period, select period (day/week/year/...) used for calculation of average cost.

aha! Thank you. they are indeed Blank. Unfortunately, cannot modify (seems read only). Any way to change. When tried in Inventory Setup, same error message shown.
