Slow RTC paste into journal

We have very slow performance when pasting large number of rows into journals. For example paste of 1000 rows into capacity journal takes 25min. The same happens when pasting to all other journals - general journal, item journal...
Speed goes progresively slower with increase of row numbers
100 rows takes 34 sec
200 rows takes 84 sec
400 rows takes 280 sec
800 rows takes 1140 sec
Is there any way to speed this up? Does any of the parameters of Nav service influence this behaviour?
