A report with chosen dates

Hi.
I'v prepared a report which shows all transactions (show report). It shows all done transations (not so many of them, and all complished during May). But now, let's assume that I have much more transations (with date durine June,July...), but I want to see only the transactions which have been done only in May. What should I do?

    Show the requestfilter of the table where the "Posting Date" is (Property DataItem.ReqFilterFields = "Posting Date"). When you run the report, the user can put a filter for the dates he wants to see.

    I've never used filters so far, so could you be so kind and tell me this once again step by step? ;) So, I'm opening the report, then data properties and?
