Open Page in Create Mode Through Code - 2013 R2

Hi guys first post here,
I have an instance where I need to open a Page 42 in 'Create' mode through code.
The reason being that I need to modify particular fields and the only way I'm able to it is I have access to the instance of my page.
I can set a property of a button to launch said page as RunPageMode: Create. However, as I mention previously I'm unable to manipulate said page via code.
Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks!
