Email notifications

Is there a way that the notifications can alert someone via email or actually send them the message viia email? Problem is when notes are left in dynamics, users are not using the role center at all times such as traveling, so they cannot be up to date with content.

    You could create to-do's and use Outlook synchronization for certain users.

    Please explain? So if I create a note in Dynamics that would become a todo in outlook?

    No, you would not be using a note, but to-do's.
    And to-do's can be synchronized in Outlook.

    To create a task in Outlook for a note would need a customization.
    I think I already saw a post on Mibuso for this.
