Bar Coding

One of my future projects involves finding a BarCode/Scanner solution that has been proven to work well with Navision (currently, running v2.5. Planning on upgrading to 3.01 in Q1 of 2002). Anyone out there using barcoding who can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I really don't know the difference. What is RF? (as is obvious, I've never used barcoding)

RF means Radio Frequency, and can be read as wireless scanners here.

For scanners that sit between the keyboard and the computer ("wedge" connection), you may want to look at the products from Symbol. Using 3 out of 9 (39 for short) barcodes is very easy. There are free True Type fonts available to produce these.

Note that Navision Attain will be having build-in support for Teklogic scanners in the near future. Ask your local Navision office for details.
