I know versions prior to NAV2013 has problems with Office 64bit version. So this means we cannot install 64 bit office on machines running NAV2009 and below.
Is this still the case with NAV2013 and above? Can we use the 64 bit version of Office?
64-bit Office will work in most scenarios for NAV2013 R2.
You need 32-bit Office for all of the Office integration scenarios to work however if you use 64-bit Office most integrations do work.
Currently we are aware of a few 64-bit compatibility issues like Outlook Synchronizaton Addin (currently no active plans to make 64-bit compatible) and a print word document issue in the mail merge process.
If you find any 64-bit Office compatibility issues reproducible in the core product feel free to ping me.

In another words, will it simply not work with 64 bit Office like in prior versions?
