Dear experts,
I need your help to setup a Job Queue using NAV server instance called "NAS".
I have create a Job Queue, and ran successfully, now I need to run the same Job Queue using dedicated NAV server instance. Then I have some questions & clarification about using NAS.
1. Why using a dedicated NAV server instance (NAS) to run a Job Queue (heavy)?
2. How to use NAS, very simple way?
3. What are the limitations on using NAS?
Thank you.

You can use NAS for more then one thing but this is not a recommended practice.1. Why using a dedicated NAV server instance (NAS) to run a Job Queue (heavy)?
If you have a dedicated NAS, this keeps things nice and simple.
You know one NAS does Job Queue, and the other one is processing e.g. Message queue.
If something happens with the "Job Queue" NAS, the other process is not affected.
Also when you start NAS you have to pass a starting parameter, with one dedicated NAS this is much easier.
Please take a look at this "How to" video.2. How to use NAS, very simple way?

This document is for NAV 2009 but the same limitation are valid for NAV 2013.3. What are the limitations on using NAS?

I use codeunit 450 create the Job Queue,
but the thing is when I start the Job Queue using NAS, the schedule starting time changes.
Any idea, why is this happens?Lakshan Kulawansa

You need to set the local time zone on the server tier setting in NAV administration management tool.0
