Stand Alone Nav 2x for Data Access

Hello
I post again because I am stuck with ancient legacy Navision 2.01B.
As I said the company is current with Navision 2013 and all computers. It's that the users need access to old information from the old system.
What I need to do is create 4 stand alone computers with Navision 2.01b. These stand alone computers would be sent to our four companies - so that the workers there can access information from Nav 2.01b - and print out documents from old records.
I did post a few weeks ago wanting to know if there was a method to successfully expand the database. I cannot get the database to expand. That work was done on a stand alone computer running Windows Server 2003, the Nav client and the Nav server. What I was unable to do was expand the database while attempting to do a restore.
Then over the days I did repairs; and I did uninstalls, reinstalls -many times the Navision server and client - and I would always end up with the same issue. During Nav server install at 90% I would be NT Service not available. I could finish however I could not start the Nav service. I could not expand the database.
I repeated these exercises even after reinstalling Windows Server 2003 -to get a fresh start.
I even did these exercises on Windows XP. All in an attempt to do a restore - and to expand the database.
Now I have another computer with a fresh install of Windows Server 2000 with NT services running. I have copied over to this computer the three restore files *.FBK. I have also copied over to this computer the 10 Nav database files *.FDB - and our 16kb FIN.FLF. Now I am ready to start again with a new OS.
Understanding that I am only attempting to install a stand alone Navision so that our workers can access and print out legacy data - should I install on Server 2000 - the Nav 2.01b server first?- and copy into C:\Program Files\Navision Financials the ten DB1.fdb - DB10.fdb files? (Each fdb is 2,000,000kb.)
And the install the client?
If the restore will not work because I am unable to expand the database, enable an NT service, then surely I can simply use the FDB files.
Here are my notes with additional information:

    Hello
I will answer my own question. Why I had difficulties is because I could find no direct answer in Navision forums.
I have all the original materials from 1999. Cds, books, notes. I simply followed the manual and whatever I did I couldn't get Navision to work.

What I did was have in one directory on the computers I was working on the 10 FDB and the FLF files.
I then installed the server from the cd. The server needed the location of the FLF files. Once supplied the
    installation finished.
    I then installed the client.
I then copied over from the Navision Financial folder with all the files off the original server -and copied those files into the newly installed Navision Financiald folder.

Navision 2.01b launched with no issues. All the companies and all the data were available. That was the simply method.
    Thought I'd pass this along.
