Dear expert

I setup NAV 2013 R2 on 1 server, everything is ok.
Then I use Administration Tool to create new instance, but it cannot start, in event viewer do not show any error.

The first one is setup from the source, it start well with Network Service. But the second from Administration Tool cannot start, i try to create by command but it get same situation. Last, i change log on as to my local windows account, it can start and work well.

My questions:
1. If start NAV 2013 R2 have problem, how can i know - it seems difference version NAV 2013.
2. Please help me to find the reason why i cannot start up the services with Network Service.

Many Thanks.

--> I would bet on it :-$ There should always be an entry when a Windows service is not starting. Try a closer look.

There can be a lot of reasons:

--> identical ports without port sharing
--> using certificates without having enough permissions by the new user
--> logon permissions for the specific user (also towards SQL)
--> wrong settings with database, db server..........

unlikely it's because the service is not in the mood for starting :D
Debuggers don't remove bugs, they only show them in slow-motion
