NAV 2009 Web Services using HTTPS

Hi All,
I had generated a Self Signed Certificate and deployed and converted the web services to use https. If I specify the URL in IE the Web Services are displaying correctly.
When I am trying to consume Web Services in my Dot Net application I am facing the error below.
"The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel."
Please help.
