Navision 2013R2 - webClient issue

Hello everybody.
We setup a Navision 2013R2 test environment running
1x NAV server 2013R2 running on W2K12R2
1x SQL Server 2012 running on W2k12R2
1x NAV web server running on W2k12R2
Clients are running either on Windows 7 or Windows 8
All servers are running on VMware 5.1
The installations worked out fine. But using the web client we are facing the following issue.
A client tries to connect to the Navision web client.
1. Using the hostname/FQDN within the link the connection through the browser is successful / Integrated auth is beeing used and no prompt for username/pw pops up
2. Using the webservers IP address instead of the hostname results in an error message "A server error has occurred, and the content cannot be displayed. Refresh the page or open a new browser window." It also prompted for username/password.
After the failed attempt to open the website the client is getting this exact same error even when trying to connect using hostname/FQDN. After
1. ~5 minutes it is possible to connect by hostname/FQDN again.
2. an IISreset the connection can be made instantly
Windows Auth is beeing used.
Kernel mode = Off
We already ran the BPA and the only error it gave was "SPN missing". The weird thing though is that exactly this SPN has been created and is there.
Any idea? Anybody seen this behaviour before? Anybody heard of problems running NAV2013R2 virtual?
Thanks for any kinds of thoughts/help.
