Does NAV 2009 R2 work with Windows 8.1?

In this Nav Team blog post NAV 2009 R2 has announced as compatible with Win 8, although I don't have any specific news regarding Win 8.1.

I have used a VM with Windows 8.1 and it installed successfully.
Only error encountered was due to SQL Server 2005 which is not supported, but NAV client was opened successfully.
