We're going to a small selection of our items on Amazon, so we've registered with GS1 for a block of EAN codes. Is there an easy way to generate sequential EAN codes using the functions in CU 99001450 Barcode Management, given our company prefix? I've had a look at those functions, and they seem to do a lot more than I need, so much so that it's not obvious if they will in fact do only what I need.
I could just use a number sequence, and copy the check digit code from there, but I'm hoping there's an easier way.
(2009R2 client, 3.60 database; should I post in the Navision Attain forum?)
Thanks, Randy

you can figure out how to calculate it from here: http://barcode-coder.com/en/ean-13-spec ... n-102.html
then you can combine all your numbers
prefix+sequential running #'s+checksum
I usually calc the entire list (00001 to 99999) in excel just to have them.
then I import the results to the item table for the items in question
formula already done for you here:
