C/Front and codeunits

Hi,
Is it possible to run functions that are in codeunits using c/front?
We want to acces some functions in our DB using C/Front and Excel. The problem is, as far as I can see, C/Front only lets you access tables. I want to run a function thats in a Codeunit.
If c/front does not work, does anybody know if there's another DLL that can do this. For example Dev. Toolkit can acces the fin.exe to communicate with to to update the source code.
