NAV 2013 R2: Unit Cost incorrect

Dear All,
I am using NAV 2013 R2. I have an existing Item with the inventory of 100 quantity. I am using Average Costing Method. I revalued the Unit Cost from $10 to $12. But for my dismay, system does not show $12 as Unit Cost, instead it's $9.03.
If I create a new Item and try, it works well but not with the existing items.
Any idea?
