Navision E-Commerce Communication Tool

Hi
I have developed a specific e-commerce tool for Navision Attain for a client and was wondering if anyone out there saw a use for it at all.
The tool allows commerce portal to operate off an existing website. We use all standard Commerce Portal XML code units and we send all the requests for orders, availability etc from a web site that exists elsewhere. The component uses TCP communication over a certain port and compresses the data before sending and decrompresses on receiving.
The benefit? You can keep your existing website - it doesn't need an expensive on site hosting setup for your website, and uses NAS to communicate with Navision and XML to communicate between the website and Navision.
We have also extended this to integrate with Commerce Gateway components and to extend the functionality of Commerce Portal.... For example Commerce Portal does not do a rewards program online... Our client wanted to do a rewards program and integrate it with navision. We wrote a new XML routine to do the Navision inserting and retreving using XML, then made the rewards program on the existing website.
We have found Commerce Portal to be a very costly implementation process - simply due to the fact that Navision wants to control the website, and you need to setup an expensive hardware infrastructure to run it.... This solution allows you to keep your existing website, keep complete freedom with design and layout and communication is simple and fast....
Just after some feedback from people in the industry as to any ideas if the market would want such a tool and if so any ideas on how to improve it or gaps in the e-commerce communications with Navision that we could add to make it a more commercial product.
Cheers
