upgrading from Navision 3.6 with History Management to 4.0

My solution center has a client that is running Navision 3.6 with History Management from Lanham Associates. We may be upgrading them to Navision 4.0 which has History Management built in. Does anyone know of anything special we may have to do to make the transition work?

Write dataports to move the data from lanham tables to 4.0 tables. I'm assuming you are talking about sales archiving header, and lines

The sales archive (and the purchase archive for that matter) has been a part of Navision for a few versions, and it has nothing to do with history management. It logs snapshots of the state of your orders, not individual field changes.

I talked to Lanham and they gave the same advice, pump out the existing data with a dataport. Then import the data after the upgrade to 4.0 is done. The issue is that apparently some of the fields aren't the same so we will lose something probably.
