Grouping lists on customizing navigation pane

Hi Everyone,

I have gone through all the menusuite topics but am yet to get any posts that deal with my kind of situation. So i decided to pose my question here...

I would like to group menu items when am customizing the navigation pane for a particular role so that i have a group name then a number of list pages within that group and so on just like the way we could to it in Classic client. Does anybody have an idea of how to accomplish this?

Secondly, I have created a new menu from Developer Environment and i can see this menu on RTC as part of the Departments menu. Is there a way i could only have this menu shown and not the whole Department menu?
