My Notifications sorting order

Hello,

is there a way to change the sort order of the Notifications in the role center programmaticaly?

The problem is that the system sorts the records with the latest one on top, but sets the focus on opening the role center on the first one. I can not find a way to do a findfirst, or change the ascending/descending of these records, as it is a system part...

Am I not seeing something?

Anyone with a good idea?
