use both windows authentication and navuserpassword

I was wondering if there is a way the users can use both the windows domain login and also the navuserpassword feature? The navusername and password feature will be used by those users who are not in the domain.

Is this possible?

Use separate tier set to NavDatabasePassword on the same database.

Exactly. Deploy a 2nd NAV server instance (New-NAVServerInstance) and configure that for NavUserPassword authentication.
