I m new to Navision and i want to know in Report Of RTC how can i assign month like 1= jan ,2=feb while printing the report

You can use virtual table Date filtering records for Period Type = Month and Period Start from 1st January to 31st December.

what do you mean exactly ? do you want the number of the month from a date? You can do that in NAV with
Date2DMY( datevalue,2 )

Sir i want to create a Report for Monthly Turnover and when Date filter is applied
for eg: Start Date =1/1/13 End Date= 30/12/13
So it should Print Jan for month 1
Feb for month 2.....and so on..
i got Date2DMY function but i m not getting how to convert it into jan ,feb...

You can use Format Function by passing the Date
ex: FORMAT(TODAY,0,'<Month Text>')

Sir i got an problem in report
when i run the report for 1 yr it only shows Jan month and give amount of all months i am not getting what is problem in it

It seems you are using the starting date of the filter instead of using period of the group...please check the expression formatting the date.
