Hi,
We have received mail stating,
"I am informing all my customers about the changes in pricing of NAV from Jan 1, 2014. I hope you are aware that from Jan 1 Microsoft wont allow you to add any new users to NAV 2009 or any objects also. You have to migrate to NAV 2013 and only there any users can be added. So ideally if you want to add users or objects you better do it before Dec 31. If you do it after Jan 1 then the price per user would be 2100 USD + BREP and if done before , it would be 1760 USD including BREP.
Once you buy licenses for 2009, you can later on move them to 2013 and you wont be charged( offer valid only for customers who bought license before Oct 1, 2012).
I just thought it would help you to keep informed.
Thanks"
Is this True??
Expecting your reply
Thanks

Sounds strange to me. As far as I am informed:
- You can add users, granules or objects to an existing NAV 2009 license indefinitely as long as no LMT or LCT Upgrade has been ordered for the particular client.
- You can't add users, granules or objects to an existing NAV 2009 license as soon as you order the new NAV 2013 license for a LMT or LCT Upgrade
LMT, LCT explained here:
http://dynamicsuser.net/blogs/vanvugt/a ... anges.aspx
- You can't buy any new licenses for NAV 2009 starting 1 Dec 2013 (Date uncertain, could be 1 Jan 2014 too)Kai Kowalewski0 -
Thank you very much for your information Kai Kowalewski0
